Mapscape chosen as route sponsor of the European Navigation Event

On October 7 and October 8, the doors will open for the fourth edition of the European Navigation Event, taking place at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. In close collaboration with Jakajima, organizer of this event, Mapscape was chosen to act as route sponsor for the navigation rally taking place in the program.
Rally
The rally of the European Navigation Event takes place on Tuesday 7 October. In the rally a variety of navigation systems and maps will be used. Mapscape closely reviews the chosen rally route for locations where some of the used navigation systems send you down the wrong road. The route will start in Helmond (The Netherlands), through Germany, and then back to Eindhoven (The Netherlands). The objective of the rally is to point out the best navigation system.
Presentation
Mapscape will not only be visible as a route sponsor but will also contribute with a presentation during the seminar on Tuesday 7 October. Mr. Harald Hagenaars, Business Development Manager, will give a presentation regarding the topic ‘Digital maps: the heart of every navigation system’. The presentation will give an insight view on the history, the market place and the future of digital navigation maps.
