Considerable growth in turnover and profit for he ECORYS Group

Financial information on first six months 2006

The ECORYS Group has achieved considerable growth in turnover and profit during the first half year of 2006. Total turnover increased from EURO 36.82 million over the first six months of 2005 to EURO 40 million during the same period in 2006, a growth of 8.6%. Profit after tax and minority interests was EURO 875,000, an increase of 26% year on year.

Profit before tax grew from EURO 1.083 million to EURO 1.328 million, a growth percentage of 22.6. The improving economic climate in the Netherlands together with the continuing strength of the UK economy and improving market conditions for research and consultancy in Europe in general mean that expectations for the second half of this year are also good. The Forward Order Books of each of the Group's operating companies and divisions are strong and show that ECORYS is well positioned for the second half of the year.
