LOS ANGELES, CA, April 10, 2012 – The first-ever, all-female worldwide drum competition, "Hit Like A Girl 2012" is increasing the visibility of female drummers worldwide, including Nikke Blout, who herself has already been pursuing playing a more active role in supporting female artists through education and inspiration. Nikke has already elected to directly donate any prizes and merchandise, which she now stands a strong chance of winning as a Top-5 contestant, to a non-profit organization providing more access to music education in schools for children and youth.
