Riverbed wordt partner in Microsoft Protocol Optimization Licensing Program

Door partnership kan Riverbed performance van Microsoft-applicaties en -protocollen verbeteren voor mobiele gebruikers en remote sites   Rotterdam, 13 augustus 2008 – Riverbed, specialist in performanceoplossingen voor Wide-area Data Services (WDS), is partner geworden in het Microsoft Protocol Optimization Program (POLP). Deze overeenkomst geeft Riverbed toegang tot het intellectueel eigendom en de technologie van Microsoft. Hiermee kan Riverbed verder bouwen aan haar expertise, het succesvol versnellen en optimaliseren van op Microsoft Windows-gebaseerde applicaties over het Wide-Area Netwerk (WAN).    De afgelopen vier jaar heeft Riverbed de markt aangevoerd als het gaat om het versnellen van applicaties over het WAN. Dit ter verbetering van de productiviteit van medewerkers die op afstand of mobiel werken en ter optimalisatie van de IT-efficiency.
