Nikke "NIKnSTIX" Blout Drums Up a Storm for Good Cause, Rockets to Top 5 and Still Climbs

LOS ANGELES, CA, April 10, 2012 – The first-ever, all-female worldwide drum competition, "Hit Like A Girl 2012" is increasing the visibility of female drummers worldwide, including Nikke Blout, who herself has already been pursuing playing a more active role in supporting female artists through education and inspiration. Nikke is hoping to knock the socks off celebrity female drummer judges including Sheila E., Kim Thompson, Hannah Ford, Dawn Richardson, Susie Ibarra, and Jess Bowen with her six-minute video performance http://www.hitlikeagirl2012.com/videos/niknstix. Nikke has already elected to directly donate any prizes and merchandise, which she now stands a strong chance of winning as a Top-5 contestant, to a non-profit organization providing more access to music education in schools for children and youth.
